Lockpicking

Lockpicking is currently not a skill you will find in the game, instead it's value depends on your other support skills: Outdoorsman, Science, Engineering.

To make use of Lockpicking, press hotkey 2 (default lockpicking hotkey) and click on a locked container, you will also need a Lockpicking tool in your character's inventory. The most common one is a Clip that you can loot all around the core. More advanced tools provide bonus to your Lockpicking skill.

Your current lockpicking skill value is calculated with the following formula:

$Lockpicking=0,2*Outdoorsman+0,3*Science+0,5*Engineering$

An example: A character that has 100% Outdoorsman, 50% Science and 150% Engineering will have their Lockpicking skill evaluated at 110% (0,2 * 100% + 0,3 * 50% + 0,5 * 150%).
