If your shotgun has [[Single Reload]] trait, with {{PAGENAME}} you will load up to 4 shells at a time. This upgraded loading process costs twice as many [[Action Points]] and is slower than the regular reload. However, a full quad load is twice as efficient than four individual reloads. Ensuring that you have 4 or more missing ammo in your magazine is key for optimizing this perk's ability.

Shotgun Surgeon
Required Level: 21
Additional Requirements: 150% Small Guns

Information

Shotgun Surgeon is a possible Perk you can learn during the leveling process of your character.

Perk Description

Your shotgun prowess is unmatched. When using shotgun ammo with pellets, instead of knocking back the target, you will now inflict crippling blows. You also reload single load shotguns faster, loading up to four shells at a time.

Important notes

Knockbacks will instead be converted into cripples. The target still has to roll against the knockback, and not the cripple, making this perk more advantageous against enemies that have high Endurance and are usually resistant against cripples.

If you load white slug ammo, the shotgun will work as if you did not have Shotgun Surgeon.
